In 1830, Paynter Frame Watson, an undertaker, cabinet maker & manufacturer of carriages, wagons & farm implements started a funeral home in Centerville (Roxana). In the late 1800s, "in hopes of partaking in the expected new prosperity," the business was relocated to Selbyville. His gr grandson Pashur Jr. operated the funeral home on N Main St. in the late 20's with his brother Henry. Pashur Jr took over when Henry opened a funeral home in Pocomoke City, MD. WE NEED A PHOTO OF THE LARGE HOME ON N. MAIN THAT HOUSED THIS BUSINESS.
