Will of John Collings 6 Sept 1759w. 1 Aug 1760p. 
My Wife, estate. 
Son William, land on west side of Branch "Treemans (sic) Contentment." [Freeman's] Son Belitha, land one east side of Branch. 
Son Sollomon, 150 acres "Collings Lott," head of Sandy Branch.
Son Elisha, 50 acres Cypres Swamp "Collings Aventour(sic)." [Adventure] 
Grandson William Collings, son of Elizabeth, at age 21. [surname must be Besea]
Daughters Mary Mumford, Elizabeth Besea (sic), Ann Stevens,[m Reuben] son John. At writers decease estate equally to my children. Wit; Robert Kirby, John Miller (now deceased), John Hall.

Note:The patent for "Collins' Lot" is posted in this folder. When Collins' Lot was patented in 1748 the surveyor noted it had a log house and crops so John Collins was likely living there on Sandy Branch. Aft.1765 it was owned Benjamin Long.
