The ordinance prohibits the participation in any public dances, horse racing, public auction, public theatrical performances, public performances of motion pictures with or without sound, public bowling games, public billiard games between the hours of noon until 6 p.m. or between the hours of 8 p.m. and midnight on Sundays. The ordinance does not prevent any church or religious organization from exhibiting a motion picture for religious instructions or preventing any religious drama or cantata for religious purposes or instruction. The fine for violation is not less than $10 or more than $100.
