Keddie abstract Book D folio 488 Indenture John Dagworthy and wife Phebe to John Penell 29 Dec 1759 2 Jan 1760 That John Dagworthy, being possessed of tract called Unity Grove containing 800 acres by patent dated 8 Sept 1759 and also possessing a part of another tract called Lebannon by patent dated 15 June 1759, now for 700 pounds this land is sold to john Penell. Unity Grove lying near the head of Sandy Branch joining the plantation where John Collings now lives and containing 800 acres. Also part of Lebannon beginning at the original bounder near Uriah Bradford's Bridge and containing 2160 acres. Before: J. Dirickson, J. Collins folio 489 Indenture John Pennell, merchant to John Rynols, Francis Harris, Benjamin Kendle, merchanys of Philadelphia 29 Dec 1759 2 Jan 1760 Whereas John Rynols, Francis Harris and Benjamin Kendle did on 28 Nov last "engage Jointly and Severally that upon the executing of certain deeds by John Dagworthy to convey certain land in Maryland to John Pennnel and upon John Pennels executing a Mortgage of said lands to them that then they will secure and cause to be paid 700 pounds to the above said John Dagworthy".
