A newspaper supplement on Selbyville published by the“Wave” [I think] states there were 16 homes within the town limits when Selbyville was incorporated in 1901. I believe that number is far too low. In the 1900 census, The beginning and end of Selbyville is not delineated but based on who probably lived in town at that time, the number is closer to 40.
