Helen Evans Willette FRUITLAND — Helen Evans Willette, 72, of Fruitland joined her Lord for eternal peace on Monday, Jan. 30, 2012, at her home, surrounded by family. Helen enjoyed gardening and spending time outdoors with Mother Nature's birds and squirrels. She also loved traveling with her family. She graduated from Selbyville High School in 1958. She retired from English's Family Restaurant in 2004. Preceding her in death was her father, Samuel Elbert Evans Sr. She is survived by her husband, Theodore J. Willette Jr. of Fruitland; a daughter, Susan P. Chamberlain and her husband, Stephen, of Salisbury; a son, Stephen W. Payne and his wife, Stacey, of Pocomoke City; her mother, Harriet A. Evans of North Carolina; three grandchildren, Allen, Diana, and Logan; and her brother, Samuel Elbert Evans, Jr. and his wife, Patricia B., of North Carolina. A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. Wednesday at Delmarva Evangelistic Church, 407 Gordy Road, Salisbury, where friends may greet the family one hour prior to the service.
