Elbert “Buddy” Voorhees, III, 65

Elbert “Buddy” Voorhees, III, 65, of Selbyville, Del., passed away on Sunday,
April 18, 2010 at the Peninsula Regional Medical Center in Salisbury, Md. He was
a retired sub shop owner and operator. He truly loved his family and enjoyed
cooking, gardening and playing guitar.

Voorhees was preceded in death by his parents, Elbert and Ellen (Austin)
Voorhees. He is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Mary (Myers) Voorhees;
two daughters, Michelle Mitchell and her husband David and Jessica Miller; four
grandchildren, Desmond, Dillon, Erica and Kaitlyn.

Services are set for Thursday, April 22, 2010 at 2 p.m. at the chapel of Melson
Funeral Services, 43 Thatcher Street, Frankford, DE. 19945, where friends may
call after 1:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to,
American Heart Association, 777 Penn Center Blvd, Suite 200, Pittsburgh, PA 15235.
