Townsend, Jr.,is slightly injured and his wife, age 46 years, the former Jennie cr of seven children, is dead as the result of an automobile accident late Saturday night. Returning to their Selbyville home from Newark where the Governor was the speaker at the laying of the cornerstone of a new dormitory for the Woman's College, they encountered a storm and a team of horses ahead of them in the road. The motor car overturned twice as it skidded when the governor threw on the brakes. The Governor was thrown clear and not badly hurt.
