Selbyville -- E. Arthur Simpler, 66, of Selbyville, died Tuesday in the
 Salisbury Nursing Home after a short illness.  He had suffered from a heart
 condition.
   Born in Selbyville, he was the son of the late Victor and Jennie Simpler.  He
 owned and operated the Selbyville Florists for 30 years and he retired in
 March.  He was a member of the Selbyville Elks Club and a trustee of the Del-
Mar-VA Raccoon Hunters Assn., Salisbury.
   He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Maxine Phillips Simpler; five brothers, E.
 Donald, Fenwick Island, Victor C., Selbyville, Clifford C., Jacksonville, Fla.,
 Harry H. Salisbury, and Louis L. Felton.
   Funeral services will be held Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at the Watson Funeral
 Home, Selbyville.  Interment will be in Redmen's Cemetery, Selbyville.
   Friends may call at the funeral home Friday night.
