GEORGETOWN — Dorothy H. "Dot" Moore, 89, of Georgetown, and formerly of Selbyville and Bethany Beach, died Sunday, Feb. 19, 2012, at Beebe Medical Center in Lewes. She was born in Bishopville and was a daughter of the late Raymond and Florence (Rickards) Hudson. She was a homemaker and was an active member of Salem United Methodist Church in Selbyville. She was also a member of the Sussex Pines County Club and was an avid bridge player. She is survived by a daughter, Rae M. Williams of Millville; a sister, Kathryn Carey of Millsboro; two grandchildren, Terri Mishaw (Scott) and Sandra Furbush (Robert); four great-grandchildren, Chas and Samantha Mishaw and Bobby and Seth Furbush; and one great-great-granddaughter, Kaylyn Mishaw. She was preceded in death by her husband, A. Carlton Moore, in 2000; a daughter, Sandra M. Archino, in 1964; two grandchildren, Anthony Archino in 1964 and Kendra Williams in 1981; a sister, Eileen Bunting, in 1999; and a son-in-law, Kenneth Willliams, in 1985. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Salem United Methodist Church in Selbyville, with the Rev. James Van Der Wall officiating. Burial will be in Bishopville Cemetery.
