Omar-Martha E. McCabe, 72, of Omar, died Tuesday, July 1, 2014 at her home surrounded by her loving family.
 
Martha was born at home in Roxana on January 3, 1942 daughter of the late Ernest J. and Roxie Mae Evans. She retired from BB&T Bank, Bishopville, Maryland in 2005.
 
Martha was a loving and devoted wife, mother and especially grandmother. She also cherished her Roxana Zion United Methodist Church family of which she was a member.
 
Besides her parents, Martha was preceded in death by a brother, James Evans and sisters, Maude E. Savage and Pearl E. McCabe.
 
Martha is survived by her husband of almost 52 years, William D. McCabe; a son, William Kevin McCabe and his wife Melinda of Frankford; daughter, Kimberly M. Davidson and her husband Craig of Bishopville; son, Keith M. McCabe and wife Ellen Lorraine of Millsboro; grandchildren, Will McCabe, Nate McCabe, Hillary Davidson, Elizabeth Davidson, and Kylie McCabe; siblings, Lulu Daisey, Nellie Brasure, Rebecca Moore, Clinton Evans and Ollie Tharp.
 
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, July 5th at Melson Funeral Services in Frankford, where friends may call one hour prior to service. Burial will be in Roxana Cemetery.
 
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to Roxana Zion United Methodist Church, 35914 Zion Church Rd, Frankford , DE 19945 or Delaware Hospice Center, 100 Patriots Way, Milford, DE. 19963.
