E. Douglas McCabe

Douglas "Doug" McCabe, age 66, of Selbyville died Monday, December 1, 2014 at his home. Born in Salisbury, he was the son of Helen L. (Andrews) McCabe of Selbyville and the late Emory S. McCabe Jr.

Doug had been an Electrical Engineer with the DuPont Company in Seaford, retiring in 1995. He was also a Master Electrician and a member of the Delaware Electrical Contractors Association. He was a member of Salem United Methodist Church in Selbyville, a life member of the Selbyville Vol. Fire Co. and a member of the Improved Order of Redmen, Wissahickon Tribe 20 in Selbyville.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Debbie McCabe of Selbyville; his son, Kenny McCabe and his wife Andrea of Frankford and two grandchildren, Kaila and Kendall McCabe.

A funeral service will be held at 1pm on Friday, December 5 at Hastings Funeral Home in Selbyville with Pastor Andy Ehlers officiating. Friends may call on Friday from 11 am to 1 pm. Burial will be in Redmen's Cemetery in Selbyville.
