SELBYVILLE — Betty L. Magee, 81, of Selbyville died Tuesday, April 19, 2011, at Delmar Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Delmar. She was born in Selbyville and was a daughter of the late Samuel and Minnie (Godfrey) Bunting.

She and her husband, William H. "Bill" Magee Jr, who died in 2000, had owned and operated Bill's Garage in Selbyville for 50 years and she also was a school bus driver for the Indian River School District for 30 years.

Betty's family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of the Delmar Nursing & Rehabilitation Center for the excellent care they gave their mother. She is survived by two sons, Wayne Magee (Pat) of Roxana and Bruce Magee (Diane) of Gaithersburg, Md., and a daughter, Sandra Putz (Kevin) of Delmar. She is also survived by a sister, Evelyn Lynch of Roxana, five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Hastings Funeral Home in Selbyville with the Rev. Betty Jo Magee officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Bishopville Cemetery in Bishopville.
