Mr. Robert Lee “Pop” Lynch, 71, died Friday, October 26, 2012.

A memorial service will be conducted Thursday at 4 pm in the Wilkerson Funeral 
Chapel [S.G. Wilkerson and Sons, Inc.,2100 E. Fifth St., Greenville NC] The family will receive friends following the service.

Mr. Lynch, a native of Selbyville, Del., spent his early adult life in Beckley, 
West Va., where he worked at Cole Cabinet Shop. He moved to Dagsboro, Del. for 
a number of years prior to moving to Greenville in 1999. An avid outdoorsman, 
he enjoyed scuba diving, spearfishing, hunting, fishing, and gardening. He was 
a member of Cypress Swamp Hunting Club and a lifetime member of Campbell Creek 
Hunting Club of Aurora.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond J. and Catherine Lynch; and a 
sister, Jeanette McCabe.

He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Faye Pittman “Mom” Lynch; sons, Robert 
L. “Rob” Lynch, II and Jennifer Askew of Grimesland, and Kevin G. Lynch and 
wife, Sheila, of Puerto Rico; daughters, Kathy L. Ara and husband, David, of 
Lewes, Del., Karen L. Stocks and husband, Jay, of Chocowinity, and Kim L. 
Comegys and husband, John, of Grifton; grandchildren, Kelly Ara, Dewayne Ara, 
Brittany Lynch, Kevin Lynch, II, Robert L. Lynch, III, Austin G. Lynch, 
Jonathan P. Comegys, and Katelyn M. Comegys; brother, Raymond Lynch, of VA; and 
sisters, Deloris Morris, Edna Hudson, Ethel Jones, and Jenny Lou Bush, all of 
Del.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Hunters Helping 
Kids-Pamlico Chapter, c/o Willie Allen, 223 Holly Drive, Washington, NC 27889.
