Kenneth D. Hudson Selbyville, DE—Kenneth D. Hudson, age 89, of Selbyville died Thursday, October 4, 2012 at Delaware Hospice Center in Milford. He was born in Roxana and was the son of the late William M. and Carrie J. (Brittingham) Hudson. Kenneth worked for Mumford Sheet Works in Selbyville for 68 years. During World War II he served in the U S Army and was part of the D-Day invasion at Normandy. He was a member of Salem United Methodist Church in Selbyville and a life member of both the V.F.W. and the American Legion. He was also a former member of the Selbyville Elks Club. He is survived by his wife: Betty A. (Cullen) Hudson; two sons: Allen W. Hudson (Susan) of Peachtree City, GA and Bruce D. Hudson (Crystal) of Dagsboro and five grandchildren. The funeral service will be on Monday October 8, 2012 at 1 p.m. at Hastings Funeral Home in Selbyville where friends may call from 12 Noon to 1p.m. Rev. Dr. James Van Der Wall will officiate and burial will be in Redmen's Cemetery, Selbyville. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Delaware Hospice, 100 Patriots Way, Milford, DE 19963.
