January 4, 1918(sic;1919), Sussex Journal We were saddened to hear of the death of Mrs. Elizabeth Hudson, widow of Isaac Hudson, at the home of her daughter Mrs. Laura Bunting at Selbyville on Monday at 10 P.M. Mrs. Hudson was 92 years and 5 days old and has been very active for a person of that age. She had many friends who were always delighted to hear the quaint and charming stories of her early life and of the unique way people lived in those days. She was loved by all who knew her for her many acts of kindness and her beautiful christian character. She was always a true neighbor and friend and will be greatly missed. She leaves to mourn their loss three daughters and two sons, Mrs. Josiah Hudson of Bishopville, Md., Mrs. Laura Bunting, of Selbyville, Mrs. Sarah Parker, Mr. Isaac A. Hudson and Mr. Seth A. Hudson of Dagsboro, besides many grand children and a hoast of friends. Funeral services were conducted in the M.P. Church at Dagsboro by Rav. J. T. Bailey on Wednesday afternoon and interment was made at her old home place near Hickory Hill. contributed by Beth Wolpert
