Elizabeth L. “Betty” Hudson, 83 

Elizabeth L. “Betty” Hudson, 83, of Selbyville, Del., passed away Tuesday, Nov.
10, 2009, at the Renaissance Nursing Home in Millsboro. She retired from the
State of Delaware Justice of Peace Court #3 in 1991. Betty was a member of Salem
United Methodist Church in Selbyville, Selbyville Lions, VFW Post#7234 Ladies
Auxiliary at Quillen’s Point in Ocean View and the Indian River Senior Center.

Hudson was preceded in death by preceded in death by her parents, F. Carpenter
and Estella Hudson; and her husband, Leo George Hudson. She is survived by her
son, Douglas M. Hudson and his wife Dawn of Selbyville; three grandchildren,
Garrett D. Hudson, Leah N. Hudson, Ashley A. Rowe; three great grandchildren,
Ryan and Kayley Bradford, and Bryanna Ballard.

A funeral service will be held Saturday, Nov. 14, 1 p.m. at the chapel of Melson
Funeral Services on Thatcher Street in Frankford, where friends may call after 12
p.m.. Burial will be in Redmens Cemetery in Selbyville.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions in Betty’s memory
to, Salem U.M. Church, P.O. Box 410, Selbyville, DE 19975.
