Rena Hickman Evans
Age 86, of Selbyville, DE, died on Monday, October 31, 2011, at her home, as 
was her wish.

Born on September 25, 1925 in Bishopville, MD, she was the daughter of the late 
Horace H. and Laura O. (Hudson) Hickman. Rena retired from Baltimore Trust 
Company in Selbyville (now PNC) after a career of over 30 years.

She was predeceased by her husband Lynwood Evans in 2007 and her two brothers, 
Lawrence H. Hickman in 1997 and Charlie J. Hickman in 2011. Surviving are her 
sisters-in-law, Harriet Evans, Joanna McCabe, Gladys Evans, and Doris Hickman 
as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

The family would like to especially remember Kelly Diaz and the family of 
caregivers who gave unselfishly to Lynwood, Charlie, and Rena, treating them 
with dignity, respect and kindness.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 4, at 11 am, at HASTINGS 
FUNERAL HOME in Selbyville where friends may call after 10 am. Chaplain Dick 
Bunting will be officiating. Burial will be private at Bishopville Cemetery in 
Bishopville.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests remembrances be made to the Bishopville 
Volunteer Fire Department, New Building Fund, PO Box 350, Bishopville, MD 21813.
