Louise Anna (Murray) Carpenter (1928 - 2012) Louise Anna Carpenter, born July 16, 1928, went home to be with her Lord Jesus Dec. 28, 2012 at 7 AM in Billings, Mont. Born in Selbyville. Del., Louise grew up in Philadelphia and graduated from Bartram H.S. She raised her family with her husband John in Holmes, Ridley Township. She was a wife, mother, grandmother, mom-mom, great-grandmom, sister, friend. Longtime member of Holmes Presbyterian Church, den mother, volunteer with Child Evangelism fellowship. Louise spent the last 18 years of her life being close to her children and grandchildren in Montana. Those who journeyed into eternity before her were her father, Martin Luther Murray; mother, Anna Johnson Murray; husband, John Joseph Carpenter and brothers, Marty and Wilson Murray. Survivors: Those to join her in eternity are brother, Ed Murray; sister, Christine Morrison and husband James; children, Michael and wife Sally, John and wife Meg, and Daniel and wife Mary; grandchildren Michael Edward Barton and wife Carol, Gina Barton Moore and husband Ned, Nathan and wife Michelle, Brian and wife DeAnne, Jonathan and wife Heather Carpenter, Emily Magalsky and husband Roger, Danielle, Noelle, David and Monica Carpenter, Titus, Anthony, Isaac, and Jordan Shoulderblade; and 11 great-grandchildren. We deeply grieve and are heart broken that we no longer have our Mom on this Earth, but we are so thankful that she has eternal life through her Lord Jesus and is in His presence right now for all eternity. Mom we love you so very much. Service: Louise was laid to rest at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Billings, Mont., at 3 PM Monday, Dec. 31, 2012.
