Lewis M. Brumberg Sr. January 12, 2009 SELBYVILLE Lewis M. Brumberg Sr., 87, of Selbyville died Friday, Jan. 9, 2009, at Salisbury Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Salisbury. Mr. Brumberg was born in Clayton, N.J., and was a son of the late Morris and Edith (Morton) Brumberg. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. A graduate of Temple University, he taught music at the former Selbyville High School and at the Selbyville Middle School for 42 years. He was a member of Salem United Methodist Church in Selbyville, where he was the church organist and choir director for 50 years. He was also a former member of the Selbyville Rotary Club. He was a very talented musician and had performed with the Tony Villani Orchestra and his own musical group, the L.B. Trio. He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth P. ?Betty? Brumberg; a son, Lewis M. Brumberg Jr. and his wife, Patti, of Fenwick Island; a daughter, Rebecca 'Becki' Graham of Ocean City; a sister, Joan Brumberg of Clayton, N.J.; a brother, Samuel Morton of Seattle; two grandchildren, Angel Bent and her husband, Chad, and Steven Brumberg; and two great-grandchildren, Gavin and Summer Bent. A funeral service will be held at noon Thursday at Salem United Methodist Church in Selbyville. Friends may call from 11 a.m.-noon at the church. Burial will be in Roxana Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Salem United Methodist Church, PO Box 410, Selbyville, Del. 19975.
